Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Red Wood wants every customer to be able to browse, understand, and buy from this store, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we've done

  • Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visible with a high-contrast outline.
  • A "Skip to content" link appears when you press Tab, so you can jump past the navigation.
  • Body text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background.
  • Images that carry meaning have descriptive alt text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Headings are in a logical order so screen reader users can navigate by structure.
  • Buttons, links, and form fields have accessible names, and tap targets are at least 44px on mobile.
  • FAQ accordions use native HTML controls, so they announce their expanded and collapsed state correctly.
  • Animation and auto-rotating content respect your system's "reduce motion" setting, and the review carousel pauses on hover and focus.
  • The site reflows to a single column on small screens and supports zoom up to 200% without loss of content.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is never finished. We review new pages and features as we add them, and some third-party content, such as embedded apps or payment windows, is outside our direct control.
